Purpose of the Programme
- This programme is designed to enable individuals to:Lead and coordinate emergency first aid responses in workplaces or community settings.
- Provide advanced life support techniques while awaiting professional medical services.
- Manage casualties with critical or life-threatening conditions.
- Ensure compliance with OHS legislative requirements and company emergency protocols.

Participants will gain advanced competency in:
- Advanced Scene Management & Triage – Prioritising treatment in multi-casualty incidents.
- Comprehensive Patient Assessment – Identifying life-threatening conditions quickly and accurately.
- Advanced CPR & AED Application – Adult, child, and infant resuscitation with automated defibrillator use.
- Oxygen Administration – Safe use of oxygen therapy equipment.
- Airway Management – Techniques for maintaining and clearing airways using advanced tools.
- Severe Trauma Management – Control of major bleeding, shock, head and spinal injuries.
- Medical & Environmental Emergencies – Including heart attacks, strokes, anaphylaxis, burns, and hypothermia.
- Emergency Leadership & Communication – Coordinating response teams and liaising with emergency services.

- Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Results and a Skills Programme Certificate recognised by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).
